We are a group of volunteers and trustees which make up our committee. Ensbury Park Community Centre has been running for over 20 years providing support and activities to the local community.
We have many activities in the centre such as dance classes, Short Mat Bowls, Craft Group, Northbourne Children’s Centre with Children’s Monkey Gym. The centre is a great venue hire for meetings, training courses, and parties.
We are located in a great park with open space and surrounding woodland, with lots of outside activities provided by Active Dorset including a Velodrome, an agility area and a Community Garden.
We also have public meetings where you can converse with your local Councillors to bring your concerns to their attention. We have a good rapport with our local constituents and Councillors who have given us great support over the years.
Volunteering is an activity where an individual or group provides services to benefit another person, group or organization. The Ensbury Park Community Centre is managed by Ensbury Park Community Association. The association is a registered charity responsible for the operation and management of the Community Centre. The Centre is run by volunteers; there are no paid members of staff.
